Health and Environmental Risk Analysis Team (HERAT)
Due to the progressive pollution of the environment monitoring studies no longer sufficient from the point of view of preserving the biodiversity of ecosystems and human health protection.
International agencies related to the protection of health (WHO, IARC, EFSA) and the environment (EEA, ECHA, USEPA) indicate the need to perform health and environmental risk analyses to determine levels of exposure resulting from pollution of the surrounding environment.
The Health and Environmental Risk Analysis Team (HEART), thanks to the interdisciplinary cooperation of scientists from disciplines such as geochemistry, chemistry, environmental protection, chemical analyses, biology, toxicology, ecotoxicology, statistics, management and social communication, conducts comprehensive scientific research based on risk assessment.
